IT’S not hard. It’s 'it’s and its, your and you’re'. Got it? The ones with apostrophes are short for 'it is' and 'you are' and the other two are possessive.
Confused? They’re, their, there, you’ll be OK.
Kind of like me. I’m possessive, over the lost art of spelling. No one seems to care anymore, and it’s spelling out a kind of apostrophegeddon.
