Pineapple sounds incredibly weird!!!
In Russia we have a trditional holiday salad, called "SHUBA"/fur coat - herring under some layers of eggs, potato, carrot, onion, beetroot. This dish may seem strange to foreigner, but for us it rather usual and of course delicious!!!
